David Bendeth – Feel The Real

UK-born David Bendeth didn’t put out too much work over the span of his career, but we can thank him for the 1979 release ‘Feel The Real’. It sits nicely amongst other disco groove gems from the era, avoiding the kitsch or tackiness factor that plagued some other productions.

It has a bassline that reminds me a lot of a 1990s Masters At Work production.
“Feel The Real” made it to #1 on the UK soul/dance charts in 1979.
