Amon Tobin – ‘ISAM’ Live

Brasilian proponent of all sounds electronic, weird and wonderful – Amon Tobin – returns with a new album on Ninja Tune. ‘Isam’ builds on earlier work from Tobin, in which he sources interesting, yet at times quite peculiar, samples from various field recordings. It’s a ‘soundscape’ in every sense.

But what caught my eye was the incredibly complex and beautiful light-projected feature that has been put together for the album tour. One of my dearest friends said, perhaps more succinctly than I could have offered, that it is a “real mind ****.”
